Da Vinci Code (Part II)

it's another week at work
things are busy as usual, yet the pace is slightly slower already
reason? it's summer break in the Western world, and all our expats are busy making arrangements to go back for holiday
oh well...
and besides, all company D&D are at the end of the year, or at the beginning of the year

yesterday, a colleague, having watched the Da Vinci Code movie, asked this question: Is Jesus the Son of God? or just a messenger?
obviously, He's the Son of God! where's the doubt in this!?
and she insists our Saviour's just a messenger?
comeon! A messenger will just pass the message, and won't do miracles among the people
A messenger won't claim divinity by calling God his father
aiyoh!!

apparently, she believes the cryptex was invented by da vinci...
and lucky on my end, my dad n I were discussing the cryptex the other night, and he said he watched a program on Discovery Channel that says there is no link that the cryptex was invented by da vinci, and vinegar doesn't dissolve papyrus! not even the strongest acid can dissolve papyrus in an instant!

With Mary Magdalene marrying Jesus...ha ha! nah!
First, there is no indication in the Bible that says our Lord is married
Second, Mary Magdalene is a Jew. Jews are really strict in their religion, they cannot marry anyone except Jews. Muslims, if they marry a non-Muslim, the non-Muslim simply converts. But not the Jews. So how can her descendent be French!? No link :p

another thing to note abt the Da Vinci Code novel/movie is this...the guy's got all his timelines wrong! Apparently Da Vinci and Isaac Newton existed like centuries before the Priory of Sion
